I’ve been thinking of renaming this blog because I might wanna use the name for my upcoming comic project (which is basically the sequel to New America but a thousand times more important). I’m not sure yet, seeing as I always get super excited about a name but then I wake up the next morning and feel like it’s a stupid idea. I’m really bad with naming my stories, if that’s not evident with “New America”… I’ve been throwing around a couple of ideas but there are a lot of flaws with them:
1. This is obviously my most recent choice. As said before, it’s the name of my Tumblr blog currently… I got it from my favorite line of Elvis Costello’s song Veronica. I feel like it can be interpreted in a lot of ways and it sounds pretty, but it’s possibly too long? I’ve seen longer through.
2. This one was the long standing title for a couple months, as it was suppose to pertain to the bouts of insomnia experienced by the two main characters. However, I’ve made the story much more inclusive of my other characters since then, so I feel like it doesn’t really fit anymore. Also it’s the name of a Bjork album. Ehw.
3. This was was just kinda a thought that went nowhere. Very unlikely to be used, but I liked the way I wrote it so I kept it in there, lawl.
4. This was the first name I thought of for the project, but every time I’ve shown someone, they’ve struggled with pronunciation. It seems a little intimidating. And once again, I made my story more inclusive of all my characters rather than just one, so I would have to stretch it to fit the revised plot.

So yeah, naming things is tough shit. I’m favoring #1 right now since it’s the one that’ll take the least effort to conform to the story, but we’ll see. Let me know what you think. I’m writing the synopsis now, but I might not post it just yet as it’ll be EXTREMELY spoiler ridden. :/
